This is for episodic video series, regardless of whether they actually aired on television. Movies that are part of a TV series also may be discussed here. Note that most of the subforums are for childrens shows (because most clean shows suitable for these forums are children's shows). Some shows may contain non-graphic violence, and on rarer occasions, euphemisms. Just as a reminder, those who post on GrowSpice™ must be at least 13 years old, despite how many of these shows are suitable for children under 12.

Come back to this thread later. I plan to add shows and links periodically. Their existence on this list is not an endorsement of them. Note that each episode has its own parents guide, too. The year after each series is the year it began (not the year it ended). List of shows: Abby Hatcher,...read more

Introduction: I Am Frankie is a Nickelodeon show that's like a mix between a comic sitcom and something a lot more dramatic. It has an overarching plot that progresses in every episode. It's about an Android girl named Frankie who goes to school, and tries to pass for a regular human girl. ...read more

So, I purchased and have been watching The ZhuZhus. I'm surprised I never heard of it and that it was so inexpensive (on Prime Video)--$5.29 per each of the two volumes, in HD, in June of 2021 (granted, that's the reason I took enough interest in it to preview it on YouTube, and buy it on Amazon...read more

I recently watched all 26 episodes of the animated Lassie TV series on Paramount+. It's actually really good. Lots of action and dangerous situations. Plenty of character development. Young main characters and their parents/community. It's set in the mountains and forest. It deserves more attent...read more

I watched the first episode of Izzy's Koala World on Netflix the other day. If you're even marginally interested in koalas, I recommend it. Anyway, it's about this girl who helps rehabilitate koalas, and stuff like that. The koalas seem a lot more like domesticated pets than wild animals, whi...read more

I watch and evaluate a lot of children's shows (and movies). Today, I saw a new series called Gabby's Dollhouse (I just saw the first episode). I think it's made by Netflix, but I get vibes like it has influence from the following shows and/or their creators: * Dora the Explorer (the main cha...read more

The Big Comfy Couch gives clowns a good name. Whether you notice it or not, every character has a red clown nose, even the animals, dust bunnies, and dolls. It's a childrens show from a few decades ago, and not a cartoon. It does have some puppets, though.

If you've watched Annedroids, you'll probably notice some things if you watch Dino Dana. * The actress (Nicola Correia-Damude) who played the villain in Annedroids is the mom. She's pregnant is both shows (although I don't think the actress was pregnant; I could be wrong). No, they don't seem...read more

It's easy to watch Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-lot in order on Netflix (when and where it's available), but if you want to purchase the series to keep, here's as much information as I have about how to watch it in the correct order with the videos available on Prime Video and/or DVD. The compi...read more

You may have heard of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, maybe from a season on Netflix, and perhaps you went to Amazon to find more (and/or to buy it), but discovered it seemed to be unavailable for purchase. Well, it's actually mostly not missing: They just packed episodes into 'mo...read more
