Better Boy F1 tomato

A friend of mine gave me two Better Boy F1 tomatoes (I had never tried them before). The fruits were unexpectedly firm, but after cutting them open, I didn't feel like I was eating firm tomatoes. Anyway, the taste was excellent. I can see why people like it so much. Lots of tomato flavor. There was some sweetness. I'm saving the F2 seeds from each fruit separately. The first fruit was larger. f1_hybrid_tomato f2_hybrid_tomato

... all in the same bag, instead of separating my friends into another bag (she doesn't spray her plants, and the other person probably used sy thetic chemicals). In the end, they're still Juliet F2 tomato seeds. It's an acclimatization concern. f1_hybrid_tomato f2_hybrid_tomato

Early Treat F1 tomato
in Domestic Tomato by Radishrain — 1 replies in thread
I harvested four ripe fruits of the Early Treat F1 tomato on 20 Aug 2019. They were the first on the plant. They were salad-sized with a normal salad tomato taste (maybe a little sweet). The skins were thick. The plant had eastern shade and a late start. I saved F2 seeds from these fruits. Vendors: • The Home Depot (Burpee brand) f1_hybrid_tomato f2_hybrid_tomato
Big Boy F1 tomato

Here are a couple Big Boy F1 tomatoes. I saved F2 seeds from them. The taste wasn't anything out of the norm, but the fruits were shaded by the plant itself and surrounding caged tomato plants. The taste wasn't bad, though. I think it would taste better with more sun. f1_hybrid_tomato f2_hybrid_tomato
